Sara Zamboni is an Italian composer, pianist and interdisciplinary educator based in the Netherlands. With a solid academic background and an ever-curious spirit, her musical journey is dynamic, playful, and open to new discoveries. She creates contemporary music worlds across a wide range of genres, from instrumental compositions to electronic music, often merging different disciplines such as movement, visuals and literature. Her passion lies in composing for live performance, where the magic of live interaction within different artistic ecosystems brings ideas to life. Collaborative projects are a core part of her creative process, and she particularly enjoys working on chamber music, contemporary music theater, and sound worlds in dance and movement research. At the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague, she works in the Dance department as a pianist, composer and creative coach, and teaches Creative Coaching in the Art of Sound department. Her artistic practice is deeply informed by her lifelong engagement with movement, where body, music and artistry continuously meet.
